Campaign Workshop for Young People

With support from WWF, I designed and delivered a campaign workshop at FarmED designed to up-skill 20 young farmers, growers & food sector actors to deliver their messages about nature-friendly faming with impact.

In order to mainstream topics around farming and land use, WWF came to us to help them raise awareness amongst the general public about the need for change in farming that supports farmers and growers to produce food in a way that enables nature to thrive alongside.

WWF especially wanted help with amplifying and platforming young voices calling for more nature-friendly farming in general, but also specifically in support of:

ELMS (particularly the higher and more ambitious strands of Landscape Recovery and Local Nature Recovery which may now be under review).

Core standards within UK trade deals that don’t undermine UK farmers or compromise animal welfare.

WHAT DID WE DO? We gathered a diverse group of 15 young people (18 - 30 y.o) to attend a workshop where they gathered new media skills at the same time as putting their own messages across to the public.
